Indoor go-karting is the easiest way in: you drive under cover, all year round, usually in electric karts, and most tracks are under 30 minutes from Paris. The Paris region's indoor tracks are among the biggest in France.

Yes. That's the whole point of indoor: the tracks are covered, so you can race whatever the weather, summer or winter.
Do I need to book to drive indoors?
It's recommended, especially at weekends and in the evening. Many tracks also take walk-ins (arrive & drive) depending on how busy they are.
How long is an indoor kart track?
Indoor tracks are more compact than outdoor ones, usually 300 to 600 m; the largest in the Paris region sometimes run over several levels.
Is indoor karting electric?
Very often, yes. Covered tracks favour electric karts — no fumes and less noise indoors — though a few indoor circuits still run two-stroke petrol karts.
